Camping in the (dare I say it...) rain?

Slopes are good. Flat is not. Puddles form you see.

Drainage has been improved so hopefully no repeat of 2005. Plus that year it was one hell of a storm.

On a slope, or near the top of a hill, that's the obvious bit. Tents near a footpath can get incredible messy, from what I've seem, because the mud gets churned so much there.

The forecast has already improved in the past 12 hours. I reckon we'll get some **** but possibly not as much as the forecast has been suggesting.

It'll be fine if it does r*** - but it won't! We're not going to get apocalypse wet stuff like in 05 and 07. Camp on a bit of a slope to be 100% sure and not across any kind of path/dip in the ground where water will pool. Make sure you've got a double-skin tent. Wellies and waterproofs and a bin liner to put them in at the end of the day/night always worked for me. But like someone else has said.....NFR NFC
