I am ridiculously excited about my first glastonbury. But if it's Kanye west and Taylor swift I will be seriously pissed off. The line up in previous years has been much MUCH stronger than that. I will enjoy it anyway but will just resign myself to not seeing much on the "iconic" pyramid stage.

Don't worry, most first timers resign themselves to not seeing much on the Pyramid after they get there. Even if you love it, it's an Nth of the best party in the world, don't put all of your eggs in that basket. You can go to Glastonbury an not see a single performer on a main stage and have a great time. I'm actively hoping it's not Kanye and Taylor, because I love them both and don't want to be tied too much to the Pyramid.

Can we go easy on the downvotes with newbies, please? I bet most posters here were hoping for their three favourite acts on the Pyramid that first year they finally managed to get tickets.

yep the lineup has been much stronger in previous years - probably because the lineup in previous years hasn't been just two acts

i think that was more speculation on his part than fact. i can't see Elton accepting lower than headliner myself. he's a huge huge act - bigger than many of our previous headliners; why should he accept lower?
