£11m for Ross McCormack?

I don't know whats happening at Fulham anymore :(. Can't see how that ever doesn't turn into a complete flop, and this is with Mitroglu still kind of being somewhere in the background with no clue what the hell he's going to be doing this year.

*shrug*

Pieters, Muniesa, Arnautovic, mame Diouf, Ireland, odemwingie, Bardsley, Teixeria, sidwell cost 5.5million. Half a Ross McCormack! And people think sparky wastes money. I expect a good season for stoke next year but much will depend on how Diouf does or if they buy another striker.

I'd image they cost a lot more in signing bonuses and wages though. Although the fee for MCormack seems silly it's not always as obvious as looking at transfer fees.

If Sanchez does go to Arsenal, how do we think their strongest line up will look?

Will it be Walcott that misses out (on the rare occasion he's fit for selection that is...) ?

well i would hazard a guess, that it will be

Ramsey Wilshere

Walcott Ozil Sanchez

Giroud

(i think there will be the usual problems with arsenal in that in the middle they simply wont be able to complete with Chelsea (aka Mata and Fab) City (aka Toure and Ferdino)

Barry confirmed 3 year deal at Goodison.

£2m fee for an out of contract player seems strange, especially as Everton have the right to challenge citys champions league place under the fair play ruling I would of hoped it could be negotiated away.. I guess there could be more favourable loan deals lined up this year though.
