An alleged "two man tent"

$(KGrHqJHJC!FHlyPR0L6BR5rFJeqog~~60_57.J

Has anybody ever been to a festival in one of these and actually shared it with another fully grown human? It's supposed to be 2m long. I'm almost 2m long which suggests I may have been better off spending my money on a cagoule. I suppose for the sake of £11.49 including delivery I shouldn't really expect it to strictly conform to the Trade Descriptions Act... I'm sure it should be easy to find though, absolutely nobody else will have one that looks like that.

and as for your question about sharing a two man, the first time i went to a festival i foolishly believed their '2 man' promise and bought one for me and my girlfriend. it was pretty awful, and i really don't know how we managed to squeeze all of our shit in to it as well as the two of us

Ha me and my ex girlfriend did the same in 2003. We were never closer than what we were for those 5 days...

I have a four man tent and have used it to myself each time I've been to Leeds. Had to share it with my brother when I went to Rock Werchter as we couldn't carry anything else, and there wasn't much extra room with our stuff in there. Definitely wouldn't have more than two people in it.

Unfortunately I'm having to share it with my mate at Glastonbury as someone I know has offered to take it and set up for us so that we get a space, if we only take one tent.

Done a two man tent between two a number of times when I was younger, wouldn't do it now but it worked at the time. I don't think theres any strict guidance on what dimensions a tent must be to claim to hold a certain number of people, out of the selection of tents I have there is no consistency as to what's sold as 3 or 4 man.

Undecided on what tent to take this year, repaired an old Sigma 300+ earlier in the year but also managed to get a very good deal on an Omega 450xl which im considering taking. Both of these are easily big enough for two people plus kit (although we travel relatively light).

This is some serious tent porn. i have always taken a shitty 2 man cheap tesco tent and woken up kissing the ceiling its so small but this year ive upped my game and got a 4 man to myself. Just have to remember its mine and not go hunting for a mini blue tent.
