http://ashcombepark.com/ Has anyone used this before? If so what was your experience of it. I am thinking it might be easier to get out of the field on Monday as only a smallish field with one exit rather than the huge fields of the glasto carparks. Location doesn't seem too far away from Ped Gate D. Obviously you could be lucky if the car park gods are kind and get much closer but also you could be much further away. Any comments appreciated. Thanks

not used it but it could be a good move. you would exit straight out onto the A361 heading West towards Glastonbury town...but you will be exiting in front of the vehicles coming out of main festival car parks 100m to the East - although that may not be of much benefit once the traffic on the A361 itself has built up queing to Glastonbury town and onwards to the West.

Ashcombe Farm is the next farm along the A361 so walking time to ped gate D would only be around 10mins max I'd say.

They are already fully booked. Already checked :(

Give them a call...I was over that way on Monday and pretty sure there was another sign up other than the Ashcombe one...there were a couple of places on the same road last year. Ashcombe may be able to confirm.

So I parked here in 2014 and will likely park here again this time round.

Was probably about a 15-20 minute walk to gate D. Left early on Monday morning - about 8-8.30ish probably and straight out onto the road no issues.

Toilets are ok, didn't try the showers.

Has anyone else parked here and gone to Gate A? Did you walk or get the bus. How long did it take?

May camp in Wicket Ground this year as first time we will be going with our nipper without a group of other friends.
