Hayfest Music Festival

New festival happening in Oct in Hayfield near Glossop, UK taking place on 3rd, 4th and 5th Oct 2014. Hayfield, a beautiful village nestling at the foot of Kinder Scout in the stunning Peak District,is the main location for the BAFTA-nominated BBC drama 'The Village', starring Maxine Peake and John Simm.

They have a good mix of rock, folk, blues and jazz.

Acts appearing included, Roachford, Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders,

Phillip Henry & Hannah Martin, Dave Sharp, Chickenbone John, Clive Gregson,

Can't wait. It's been a long wait since the Hayfield Jazz Festival came to an end. The Hayfest line-up looks great too.

Yes the jazz festival ended in the mid 80's I think and used to get a great turnout.
