Cabaret Field bar, Wednesday 6pm: eFestivals meet

[eFestivals]

This year the eFestivals meet will be held in the bar in the Cabaret field, at 6pm on the Wednesday.

If the bar has the same name as last year, it'll be called The Ridge & Furrow Bar.

They'll be music from the bar's DJ (who I believe will be DJ Dad, but if not one of the Shambarber DJs), and they're promising "reggae, old skool hip hop, soul, americana, blues 'n jazz type-ting".

Come along and say hello, meet some of the people you've been reading/chatting to/discussing with here.

They do cocktails

Yep, they do ... and there's a special cocktail bar thingy out the back, which we might well have access too.

The bar also does ales (so not just that horrid fizzy stuff), Thatchers cider, and hopefully (cos i've asked for it) a golden/amber ale of some sort (I wanted Summer Lightning, but they can't do that unfortunately)..

That's a pity, I've always enjoyed Hopback beers. Might I suggest Glastonbury Ales' Golden Chalice?

It's outside of the bar manager's control. They have to use the beers that are supplied by the festie's official beer supplier (for this bar it's an independent brewery, I believe).
