it says you can pitch a tent behind a campervan ,so what size tent can you pitch.

never been to campervan area before, campervans vary in size so i guess smaller the campervan the bigger the tent you can pitch?

may have the oppurtunity to camp here but not sure whether i want too yet, usually camp in park home ground and the campervan will be in east car park.

might be handy for taking tent and beer in but then if i decide to camp in park home ground will have to trolley everything from campervan field which is a bit of a trek or get me m8 to go tuesday night and put up me tent early wed morning ready and waiting for the rest us!

Theoretically your plot is 7 metres wide x 8 metres long and you can get in what you can fit in to that space. You are not supposed to pitch tents alongside caravans/campers because of the risk of continguous fire. But you can pitch them in front or behind.

That said, be sensible, talk to the stewards nicely and you'll probably be OK.

We pitched a 6 man tent behind ours last year, the camper next to ours had 2 tents next to it and I saw some 'vans' that basically had awnings sticking out and people sleeping under them...... don't think theres too much of a limit to what you can put up.

We had tents no problem. However some of the vans close to us pitched tents that encroached onto the space between the rows. Although nobody said anything be aware that people leave on Sunday night so make sure you leave enough room for people to manoeuvre and drive past you. The fire lane was tight as it was and I wouldnt have wanted to try and drive past some of those tents pitched by inconsiderate people, more likely it would have been drive over especially with the larger vehicles. Luckily we were on the end nearest the road :)
