Question re getting the train on Monday morning

Hey fellow Glastonbury festivallers.

I was hoping someone would be able to give me some advice on the best way out of the festival on Monday am. I need to get to South Wales and will be travelling alone with very few wits about me. My mates are leaving on the 6am coach to London so will leave at same time.

options are:

1. 6am Coach to Bristol coach station then walk to temple meads, then train to Wales

2. Festival bus direct to temple meads - it doesn't look like you can book this. Will it be crazy busy at 6am?

3. 645am train from castle Cary - how busy are the buses/trains at this time on the Monday?

Thanks for any advice. I need to get back to pick my son up from his grandparents - I have always driven in the past, so not sure how public transport is on the Monday.

Sounds from hte posts above that the buses might be the way to go. But if you decide to take the train, its not too bad at that hour of the morning, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to make it from the site to castle cary. Queues are busy enough from early on to get hte shuttle bus.
