There's talk of Coldplay headlining the Saturday night after they released dates of 6 shows between April-July.

Surely they wouldn't be booked again after only headlining the festival in 2011? All just hyped up rumours?

Loved them at Glastonbury in 2011 and saw them at Sunderland in 2012 which was one of the best stadium gigs I have been too.

Saw them headline Glasto twice and thought they were really good both times. I also liked kasabian and fatboy slim....god I'm such a loser for liking popular music...I wish I could be cool and like some of the john peel stage acts... :-)

I've never been bothered about them in the slightest but I thought I'd watch them in 2011 and they absolutely nailed it. Haven't listened to them since but it was still a really good gig.

Queued up for a few days to get tickets for their UEA gig a couple of years ago despite not really liking them - this is how committed I am to my girlfriend! But they bought the first hundred people in the queue a pizza each which was nice of them, and I have to say that, once Zane Lowe's horrific DJ set was out of the way, the gig was actually pretty good. I wouldn't see them again, but I have no problem with their music. I just choose not to listen to it.

It's not that they're popular. it's that they're shit. that's the problem. as are Kasabian and Fatboy Slim (although to be fair to the latter two, they both had points where they were good).And if you want to be cool, The Park is the place to be.
