eFestivals
You might have heard in the media in the last day or two about the 'Heartbleed Bug'. This bug has caused just about every web-based service in the world to be vulnerable to attack. There's no record made of any attack via this method, so it's not possible for any service to know it's been attacked. The efestivals servers were patched yesterday afternoon, so from that point onwards they should be safe from anyone trying to exploit this vulnerability. The best advice to protect yourself from someone having got your password details for any web service you use is to change all of your passwords immediately.Having said that, the likelihood of this vulnerability having been exploited on efestivals is probably tiny, as there's much better places for any criminal to attack - such as banks. There's nothing of value that anyone could get from here other than just people's usernames & passwords.Anyway, I recommend that everyone changes their password immediately, just to be safe.
