Does anyone know when the best time to buy advance tickets is?

Due to work I'm having to travel Friday at 4.35 from Paddington.

At the moment the tickets the standard price as not selling advance ticket options yet.

Do they ever give this an an option?

Any advice on getting it cheaper would be appriciated.
