can friends camp next to a campervan?

in the campervan field. it says that campervan can pitch a tent next to their van. ie do you need specific passes to get into and out of the cameprvan fields??

From what I remember from reading this on the forum last year was that anyone can go into campervan east but west was only open people staying there.

The only other issue is the size of the pitch that you are allocated. In theory it is 7 metres by 8 metres. So you get into that space what you can. If you have a larger motorhome or a caravan with a big awning you may take up all of the space. A small campervan will have plenty of room for tents alongside.

When you arrive you need to bag the space to stop the stewards squeezing the next van too close to you. We put out chairs and sleeping bags. Anyone can come and go through the west gate. They just need a valid ticket. I've been in west for two years and it is not an issue.

Anybody could go into west as well. We were staying there but we brought beer for one of my friends who arrived by coach and him and his friend came into the field with us to pick it up.
