Nope nothing to do with Micheael Wood services.

the new War on Drugs album is cracking. Hole in their dates around Glasto, would be a cracking JP addition. Anyone got any info?

literally just posted about them in another thread. really hope they're there this year. new album is amazing. got dates in Europe around the festival so they're definitely in with a chance of being there. JP / Park i reckon (hopefully Park)

Listened to the new album yesterday, really impressive! Liked their last one too. Hope they make an appearance... not sure if they're exclusive to Latitude?

no mention of an exclusive on the announcement so i don't think they are (and what with every other festival having already announced their lineups, i reckon that makes 'em likely for Glasto)

This album is fucking brilliant!!!! I'm always wary of a FloorFiller recommendation knowing some of his headliner wishlist - but he got me into Foals and these so fair play to him.

glad to be of service :D definitely one of my, if not the, albums of the year thus far. can't stop playing Under The Pressure

If theres a better album released this year its a vintage year for music.

Also, theres a moment, a tiny fleeting second-long chord change, about 1.50 into "Burning" that is the most Springsteen thing ive heard outside of a Springsteen song itself.

Really like the new album. Lovely sounding record. Part Floyd/Springsteen/Dylan/Cooder and even Kate Bush in parts.

Drifts into dead ends occasionally but would love to see them at Glasto. Nice sunny day.

The hazy yearning from it is so evocative of 1980's FM radio. Amazing album. One of my faves in recent years.

Yeah its landscape stuff. Must pick it up on wax no I've got a new amp in.

Under the Pressure. Tune.

Theres a tasty ltd edition on translucent purple vinyl.

The 80's nostalgia from it is overwhelming in places. "I'm on Fire", Wilbury's, Tango in the Night era Mac, "Boys of Summer", "Free Fallin'", "Dancing in the Dark", "Walk of Life", "Hazard" (its a tune, give it up!). I'm down the rabbit hole with this record.

Last "every waking hour" new record that grabbed me like this was Queen of Denmark.

good to see the love for them...there was a page or so of posts on them on the "bands who you've never heard of...or who would play small stages thread" or whatever it's called thread.

i'm more of a Slave Ambient fan, but new record is great, and is growing on me all the time.

this Friday night in Brooklyn
