The Space To Put Predictions And Then Provide Feedback Or Bold Bands If You Want To Show People Who You Like Thread

I gathered that but I'm a grumpy, moaning bas##rd and didn't find it humorous

The trick to being a grumpy moaning bastard is to ask tourette for advice. He'll give a sarcastic comment in reply because he's a grumpy moaning bastard, but at least you might learn something.

He's too much of a grumpy moaning bas##rd to drop in on this thread though I reckon. If not though I will gladly take any advice on perfecting the art. Even if that advice is deeply hidden in a sarcastic reply

Just the name put me straight off it

Wow!

Yeah you're right though, the name just calls for shit to be thrown in here...

It really amuses me that you censor yourself.

Haha I can't bring myself not to even though it's pretty fu##ing pointless as everybody knows what I'm saying anyway

Who does everyone think will be announced next? I reckon six bands: AM, Bombay Bicycle Club, Imagine Dragons, Enter Shikari, Placebo, Kendrick Lamar.

Although I'd love it endlessly, I can't see Placebo being announced until the big batch announcement in March. Enter Shikari are apparently not doing any UK festivals/shows(?) next year. The other four I can see being pretty likely though.

Now that's a disappointing announcement right there.

I reckon they'll announce a sizeable chunk of the lineup in Feb. Will most likely get all the headliners out.

Really? I know festivals have to change with the times but FR have always seemed to me too traditional and I just felt they like having a headliner to announce in March and didn't want to change this system. Happy to be wrong of course...

They don't normally announce anything in Feb, I think they're probably just pushing the main announcement forward a couple of weeks.

They announced Biffy/SOAD, etc. in Feb last year. I think they've said the next headliner will be Feb, with the final one March.

Yeah I can see it being a pretty small announcement yet, then the final headliner in March with a decent chunk of the lineup and then another large lineup announcement in April, pretty sure that's the formula they followed for 2013?

Did they? I didn't think they announced anything between December and March. My bad.
