justanothername
I know this thread will probably go largely ignored but no one has done anything yet (or even start a tramlines forum for any year) but what can we expect next year. I'm not massively hyped for it but it does allow for me to pass time or chill with some mates even if it is not free any more. Takes place in Sheffield between the 25-27 of July 2014
pship7
Not a very popular one with the forums this one then?! Being a big fan of The Rifles I stumbled across this festival and was thinking of heading up to Sheffield to make a weekend of it. Any advice from people who have been before? Looking at past line-ups it seems to have some bigger acts announced for this year. I assume these bigger acts link in with the fact that it used to be a free festival and now people have to pay? justanothername
It's just a typical inter city festival and the acts have definitely improved from last year but that could be due to the increase in price but I'm not bothered if the line up is strong as it is this year I recommend you at least take a map ( and mark all the venues but you can always ask one of the stewards for directions. Gazsimmo1980
Not a lot of love for Tramlines around here I take it? Will be my first time this year. The ticket cost to line up quality makes it unmissable. Fucking Public Enemy and The Cribs I was more than happy with, then they throw Simian Mobile Disco in an all? Can't fault the bookers there. Katster
I went last year, we stayed on a canal barge in the city centre. It was ok for a cheap city centre festival but I won't be returning this year (no reflection on the festival, I'm pregnant).
Amy Lawn
The line-up this year is really up my street. Not going to be able to make it, but hope all those that do have a great time.
