I actually had a walk around Bramham Park this afternoon. It felt really weird being there and there being no festival on. It was very serene.

I'm not sure what relevance this post has to anything, but oh well.

If you look at it on google earth you can see all the paths made by festival goers and where the tents go :)

The thing is, most of the estate is private and there's only one public footpath, which goes nowhere near where the arena is. It went past where Brown, Green, Orange and Red are though, and I could tell where everything was, like those trees that divide Orange and Green, the little woodland that divides Orange and Red, and that weird tree with all the branches cut off at Orange entrance.

It's odd because without all the fencing and poles and tents and food vans there it's just one big open field.

Leeds Saturday

Mariachi El Bronx - Not a fan of mariachi music, but an enjoyable way to start off  6/10

Neck Deep - Didn't really like them, but didn't expect to, as I am not a fan of heavy pop punk. Probably good within their genre 4/10

Drenge - Very Good early set, featuring a fairly equal amount of tracks from both albums. Good crowd and atmosphere 9/10

Palma Violets - Classic display of energy in the mix between indie and punk. 8/10

Panic! At The Disco – Only knew one original song; Bohemian Rhapsody was done very well. Surprise of the weekend. 9/10

Swim Deep – Decent performance, yet struggled to get the crowd going, due to the fact that half of the set was new songs that many people had not heard. Best songs, but may have been better to play more of the debut at a festival for crowd purposes. 7.5/10

Peace – 9th time have seen them. Great flow throughout the set, which attracted a good crowd to a good set. 8.5/10

Saint Raymond – Watched from the edge of the FR tent. Appeared to get the crowd going with some decent tunes. 6/10

Django Django – Everyone was pleasantly wasted for this psychedelic rock/art rock set, where the tracks were really vamped up well for a live show. Good crowd and provided a very satisfactory end to the night 8.5/10

Leeds Sunday

Nothing But Thieves – Decent start to the day, with some fairly good indie pop music 6.5/10

Twin Peaks – Sound didn’t seem that good, however good energy on stage 5/10

Foals – Attracted a big crowd, who seemed good (for the majority of the set). Could have done with 10-15 minutes longer, however an good performance overall 8.5/10

Slaves – Tent absolutely crammed, getting them the sort of crowd you would expect for a band much higher up on the line-up. Great performance, ensuring 35 minutes of mosh pits and great tracks. 9.5/10

Spector – Never heard of this band before, however immediately booked tickets for their UK tour afterwards. Small, yet excited crowd gathered for a superb indie set. 9/10

Circa Waves – Generated a huge party atmosphere for almost full tent, witnessing a very good set. 8.5/10

Wolf Alice – Matched up to the hype of being an excellent live band. Very impressed with how they dealt with the sound issues to deliver a grungy set. 9/10

Everything Everything – Another band which secures another album sale with their highly enjoyable set, despite being only on the fringes of the tent. 8.5/10

Catfish & The Bottlemen – Largest NME/R1 crowd gathered, seeing a excellently performed set by the band, causing true crowd chaos. 9.5/10

Lucy Rose – Never listened to her, but a folky set was a good support for… 6.5/10

The Wombats – Largest Festival Republic stage crowd for a long white gathered to see this set. Certainly not disappointed with the final set of the weekend, who really created a ‘last party’ atmosphere, which included a woman crowd surfing on a bin and the lighting rig being climbed numerous times. Really feel for security. Exceptional set. 10/10
