After a fair few listens now I'm happy enough with Everything Now, probably the weakest of their five albums but there are still moments of gold here - Everything Now, Creature Comforts and PYMOM are all corkers.

Chemistry is still garbage though.

I don't follow the sport but I once bet on a horse called Reflektor when I saw it come up on Sky Sports News. Same owner apparently. Wonder if there'll be a future foal called Put Your Money On Me.

Although the album is technically a 13 song albums, I think if you remove the two Everything Now (Continued) songs, and combine the two Infinite Contents (why on earth are these separate!!) - then you're effectively working on a 10 song album. 

IMO, of these 10 songs, I think you have six excellent tracks there: Everything Now, Signs of Life, Creature Comfort, Electric Blue, Put Your Money On Me and We Don't Deserve Love. 

I don't actually hate any of the songs on the album but am a bit hit and miss with Chemistry and Peter Pan, and don't have much time for Infinite Content and Good God Damn. 

Overall after letting it settle for a week or so, I'm pleased with the album. 6/10 songs I'm really enjoying - so that is a good return all things considered.

First listen last night, not great on first impression. Everything Now, Creature Comfort, Put Your Money on Me and We Don't Deserve Love good tunes; Chemistry, Peter Pan and Good God Damn bad tunes. Can't even remember the Infinite Content bits.

Only had one listen so far: I loved loved loved the first 3 albums. I can see the merits in Refelktor, although never ever listen to it - but there is a good album in there somewhere.

This one.... there are a few cracking moments, but unfortunately a few songs smack abit of 'that'll do'. The songs are poor and it's like they think the production will save them, possibly. On the other hand I reckon Peter Pan has a decent melody in there, had it been Win on just an acoustic if may have had some poignancy. 

Will look forward to a few more listens, but my immediate thought is they may be just turning in to a band I 'used to' love.

Seems to be a real split on opinions in this album!

I've always viewed them as a live act, rather than an album and singles band

I think they'll nail this tour completely! The best of the 5 records, plus 4 or 5 of infinite content, should be one of the best shows of next year

I don't think there's any doubt in my mind that while this may be received as their weakest album, they are in the form of their lives as a live act. It could end up being their best tour.
