Playing on the sound system at Williams Green on Thursday. Maybe it was the cider and dancing, but it was a very happy moment!

Portishead set lifted a whole level when they did Wandering Star then Machine Gun. I think everyone knew then, that they were seeing something special. Wandering Star was amazing, but the beats on Machine Gun just went right through me, and were so loud, so I'm going for that as my song of the weekend.

You certainly can't appreciate how loud it was on the BBC coverage.

Machine gun by Portishead, the visuals, the bass, the shear power and beauty, when it comes on all terminator with the cnd logo it was a moment of unparalleled splendour.

I saw so many great performances over the weekend, The hives, Enter Shikari and The stones being the most memorable after Portishead, who were unforgettable.
