Gingo
Franz Ferdinand would be brilliant. Just a case of whether Rockness can get them to headline or TITP snap them up with more money.
POKERDUDE
My idea 3l headliners would be: Friday - white lies Saturday - phoenix Sunday - Franz Ferdinand Not sure how much these three would cost. about £159 I imagine

eddiepolio
Hellish line-up. Hellish price. Whatever crap that is it ain't Rockness.
viberunner
I'm not in the least well informed. I'm the one skipping around the Sub Club tent like a schoolgirl on a heavy dose of acid. But the other acts you mentioned? Well, I've heard of them. (In fairness I've heard of FF too).
thewayiam
Avicii and C&S are two potential bookings for this surely? edit: after posting this, i see C&S are starting to put new material out. I think this is very likely to happen myself. also a V festival 4music headliner Edited July 5, 2013 by thewayiam

KeithDelBasso
Phoenix could not headline a festival the size of Rockness in the UK. I went to see them at Coachella (incase DP came on) and thought they were good, they have a big following across there, but I'd never heard of them before they were on the Coachella line up. They're subbing Tuts on a Friday night at T, they could never headline Rockness. I would argue that The Vaccines are a bigger draw now than Franz and they subbed the Friday main stage so wouldn't headline. And White Lies wouldn't headline the Clash tent, never mind the main stage. Edited July 5, 2013 by KeithDelBasso

rossm18
A year is a long time for fickle music fans, I reckon Phoenix will be big enough next year to headline.
eddiepolio
The also just headlined the John peel stage at glasto on the last night so I'm sure they'll do ok at RockNess ;-)

penny0
As long as the Sub Club get a couple of nights to do their thing they could mainstage MC Hammer for all I care.

POKERDUDE
How will they get any bigger between now and rockness? They just released an album and not many people really took notice
Gothenburg83
more exposure, more people will have heard them by next year. anyone with any sense took notice of the recently released album, they're better than ANYONE who played rockness this year,

rossm18
Phoenix better than Fatboy, Basement Jaxx, Netsky, or Alabama 3? Well, they must be one fucking amazing live act because the music-part of their tunes I checked out on Spotify are somewhere between underwhelming and forgettable.[/quote Agree with that ! Phoenix have been about for years and were never that big here and this album hasn't really made to much of an impact in this part of the world and I just can't see there being a massive breakthrough for them here until there next album if its good
