I experienced pretty much every weather at Glastonbury, 2011 wet and vey muddy enought said.... 2010 blistering hot hot hot sunshine which was nice and don't get me wrong but it was to hot. 2009 was best ever weather I have experienced! Nice warm sunshine and no need to find shade and we had showers to keep the dust at bay, also we had a thunder & lighting storm that year too. I'm hoping for the weather we had back in 2009, what weather do u want?

yes....i hope there is some weather :)

boiling hot can be as bad as soaking wet.....so as said above, warm, dry with a small breeze and the odd tiny shower would be lovely.

But this is britain....so it will be baking hot the first day, torrential rain the 2nd, gale force winds the 3rd, all 3 combined on the 4th and bit of everything on the last day :)

The only problem with 2010, in my opinion, was the dust. Walking anywhere near a car was horrific (there was crap coming out if my nose for weeks!). I didn't mind 2011 because I thought the site coped quite well (far better than in 2007) and I lost weight wading through that mud! And, to be honest, there was something a bit special about dancing to Jimmy Cliff in the pouring rain!

A little but of rain before gates open to keep the dust down but not enough to make it muddy. Then its going to be hot, hot, hot!

I do recall someone saying it was monsoon or similar... Wait...

"Thunderstorms developed in the south-west early on 28th, and a series of thunderstorms later across the Midlands and parts of northern England brought torrential downpours, frequent lightning and large hail. Rainfall totals of 20 to 30 mm in an hour were reported widely."
