I've always had problem with the heat in the morning inside of my tent, anybody know any solution to this problem - so that the tent can remain relatively cool in the morning/afternoon ?

search for Fresh & Black tents

Not 100% sure if this is the right thread but can anyone recommend either of these tents?

Both are single skin which if you touch it in the morning all the condensation will absolutely soak you. Don't touch the walls and I guess it's ok. Go for whichever has the highest HH reading

edit both have a HH of 1500 but I would recommend 3000 for glasto

Never go for single skin tents - you're bound to have something touching the sides and then all the water on the outside comes in.

At download last year, the guy in the tent next to me had an indoor pool in the morning. He was a hell of a laugh, but seriously pissed off with his impromptu swim.

How many people are sharing the tent? If its just going to be 2 plus your gear I'd recommend this one:  https://www.decathlon.co.uk/arpenaz-3-freshblack-tent-3-man-id_8357355.html

Slightly more expensive than the two you listed but these tents have been tested to withstand the worst glasto can throw at us whether it is monsoons or blazing sunshine.

Will be just me at Glasto but 2 of us at Benicassim.

Gonna go with this one then as I think the 'sun blocking' feature will come in massively handy in Beni.

Cheers!

You see lots of these at Glasto and they are pretty decent. Definitely not a 6 person tent unless you want to put some poor suckers in the cold middle bit. The two side compartments are fairly small due to the sloping, but you can fit a double bed in each side and put your stuff in the middle.

Any decent deals on backpacks around ATM? Someone recommended one of those eBay 120 liter ones last year which was dirt cheap but snapped on arrival, so something a little sturdier preferably 80l plus, cheers!

What's your budget? Got a 100l military surplus one for under £100 that appears sturdy as hell and has a ton of space.

My local tesco (Ireland) have 2 man tents scanning for €4.50 (marked at €18) https://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-2-man-tent-with-porch/728-6120.prd?skuId=728-6120

Also they have these http://www.outdoorcampingdirect.uk/summit-adult-emergency-poncho.html
for 58c
Might be store specific but possibly in every store might be worth a shot for some people

i just bought one of these, not for Glastonbury but I thought some of you may be interested. Decent solar charger (fantastic reviews) £49.99 down from £135.99.

Im off to live in a field for two months following the festival so it'll earn its keep then hopefully!

If it's trainer weather this year, I can recommend these socks: http://direct.asda.com/george/womens/socks-tights/3-pack-cushion-sole-socks/GEM535069,default,pd.html

Cheap as chips and better than the blurb says.  Cushioned sole, tab at heel to stop slippage, ventilation on top of the foot and arch support.  Not bad for £3.50 for 3 pairs.  Can confirm they even make my Converse (got them as a gift) wearable.  I assume they do a gents version too but I've not tested those.

I'd only do that with stuff you don't mind disappearing, I've had someone "accidentally" try and get in my tent twice at Glasto, a lot easier to do that when there's no sleeping person to climb over...

I have the 4 man version of this.  Decent tent, withstood last year no bother (with an application of waterproofing before we left).

Aldi are doing camping stuff from next Thur.  10l camping sink, £3.99.  Sounds about perfect for a quick flannel down or hair wash.  https://www.aldi.co.uk/adventuridge-camping-sink/p/094844145863401

They'll also have bamboo socks.
