I thought for a moment you were referring to Clapton, Bruce and Baker till I watched the vid Brandycoke.

I like a bit of cream on my PIE.

Amazing that the original manuscript has just sold for $1.2 million. No wonder Don McLean called it his 'pension fund.'

MILES

To explain the not-obvious link. A few years ago I saw The Proclaimers at the Village Pump Festival. The night before they appeared a local band played a version of 500 Miles and got the audience to sing "Pint of Lager" in the chorus where the band go "Fa, la, la, la"

The next night when The Proclaimers played their pension pot song and got to the chorus they were a bit surprised when the whole audience shouted "Pint of Lager" in the middle of their song.

It works - you try it.

James Taylor - one of Mrs GH's all time favourites.

And an excuse to post one of my favourite Glasto performances. Ray Davies dedicates a song to his late friend and former bandmate Pete Quaife.

So let's go with SUNSET

Dusk comes before the NIGHT

A youngy fresh-faced Van Morrison but the sound of things to come.

And the other hit for Them, when Van is even smiling!
