carlosj
If you are emotionally hurt, it's good to talk and get things off your CHEST. Fine John Hurt performances.
grumpyhack
PIRATES often have a chest. Johnny Kidd (a Grumpy Gonner after a car crash in 1966) was the original lead singer and the band spawned connections to all sorts of bands including Dr Feelgood. And here's Dolly commenting on her chest

grumpyhack
DEVIL A scene from one of the great music films, based, loosely on the life of Robert Johnson who, it was said, had sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for the ability to play the blues. In this scene the young man wins back the soul of his friend from the Devil by beating the Devil's man in a guitar duel. Guitars actually played by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. grumpyhack
Probably on CIDER The Wurzels began life as Adge Cutler and the Wurzels and have led many cider-fuelled singalongs at Glastonbury. Adge was originally Acker Bilk's road manager but sadly died in a car crash in 1974 returning from a gig. Acker is no more either, died in 2014 - so two Grumpy Gonners. But Acker was a superb clarinet player. This was a No 1 in the US and spent 50 weeks in the UK charts.

oneeye
OVER sorry to hear about your change of plans there grumps, hope all is as well as can be expected; ripe old age that, 93; marvellous innings thus far I reckon. Beautiful song this by the very talented Miles Kennedy. He fronted with Slash at Glastonbury 2010, great YouTube footage, Sweet (more like sweat that day) Child of Mine. grumpyhack
Fascinating contrast in styles there Oneeye and shows Myles Kennedy's range. I'm going to pick KENNEDY as the link word because it's a chance to appreciate another Kennedy - Brian (no relation to Myles) who's a great Irish singer who began his career as one Van Morrison's backing singers before making it as a solo artist.
