It's being reported on the BBC that poor weather has led to traffic backing up to the dock on the Isle of Wight, this has meant that the ferries are unable to unload anybody. So hundreds are reported to be stranded on ferries and thousands in Portsmouth.
Ouch, I hope that the congestion gets sorted out and good luck with the weather to anybody that's going.

Yeah...I second that. Been the last 3 years (decided to give this year a miss fortunately)and with the exception of the Sunday last year didn't see any bad weather at all. Its a good weekend. Its a shame...people look forward to their festivals all year and then this happens. On the plus side the bands in the tent are going to get much bigger crowds than they would otherwise.Ouch, I hope that the congestion gets sorted out and good luck with the weather to anybody that's going.

Had a text from a mate who's just got there
His advice -delay until later and use the time to swop your wellies for waders!

It's been reported that many were forced to sleep in the cars overnight due to the continuing traffic chaos, the cars were towed individually into the car park by tractors. Here's a video of the festival where if you notice that even a Land Rover is being towed by a tractor!
It certainly looks rough down there.

Should be just as fun getting them off the car parks again...
