Since Festival Republic got involved, they've always been exactly the same price as Reading/Leeds. Last year both were £195 (plus theft), this year Reading and Leeds was £197.50 (plus theft). I think next year, £200 will definitely be the magic number for both (plus theft of course).

Yes. Taken from the Glasto website about a minute ago;

Once registered, you can pay a deposit for up to 8 tickets per transaction online or by phone*. Bookings will be taken from 9am on Sunday October 7th 2012. You will need the registration number and postcode for each person for whom you are booking a ticket.

Gonna Register for next year tomorrow with my mates, also trying to get my mates at Uni's to register to, constantly stressing to them about how imporant it is to register, hopefully they'll realise that it is important and that they won't just thinkt that I am being too keen.

How manic do people reckon T-Day will be next year? In 2007 (the year after that Glasto doc was shown) tickets sold out in an hour, this year there was another one so I'm just worried that it will be the same as it was back in '07? Made all my friends at Uni sit down and watch the documentary with me and quite a few of them were really put off by it, saying that they preffered reading and that Glasto looked really scary and full of druggies (they don't have a clue what they're talking about but I just sort of went with it instead of being an arsehole and arguing) so maybe that documentary put off some more boring unadventurous people?

I'm just really, really scared that I'm not going to get a ticket next year!

I think that's because intentionally or unintentionally, the system can't process that number of bookings in an hour. Last year was one of the quickest I can remember. I think if the system was built to deal with 150 000 sales in one hour then it would have sold out in that time.
