DomDom1984
I'm not liking the Arab Strap/Flaming Lips and Cribs/Bloc Party clashes that have come out.

DomDom1984
They never truly did. There's chance to watch everyone but there'll be serious overlap as always.
DomDom1984
Oh, and it looks like Saturday has someone else to add. Friday and Sunday both with five acts on the main stage and Saturday with just the four.
rawaudioinput
I was tempted by this until the Y Not debacle and the average experience I had at Truck; steer clear of Global/Broadwick events in my opinion
Amy Lawn
Yeah I went in 2015 and I could see it seriously going to shit and be very very not fun if they get the organisation wrong. Getting in and out was a big job with everything running ok, wouldn't want to be there if it went to shit.
dirty_dog
They did get it wrong last year but it sounds like they are going back to basics, different car park and reduced numbers and I think the lineup will keep the dickheads away. should be pretty good this year
betharm
The hot tubs are now available to book online, is anyone booking? I'm not sure if i want to pay £30-£40 on top of the ticket price unless it is really worth doing. I've not been to Festival No 6 before and don't think i've ever been to anything like it (i've done Glasto, Leeds & other fests) so I don't know whether to make the most of it and get on board with the extra 'activites' or if i will just be too much in my usual festival mode (getting drunk/watching bands) to get involved. I am so confused by this festival. Excited though.
robskyd
I don't normally book anything on top of the weekend ticket so I'm not tied down to anything. I like the way they've changed Clough's this year in that you can go when you like and not a specific time so if the weather is as crap as last year I might head in there for a feed! Oh, and you've every right to be excited, the first time you walk into the village is amazing!!
ghandi
Yeah I think all the extra activities would mount up, the dinner at cloughs etc. We haven't been before and are looking forward to it as it looks different than other festivals but I'm not paying any extra than the ticket price. We'll still have a good time regardless and let all the espredril brigade have their private boutique festival
robskyd
This will be our third year. We nearly didn't bother after last year's debacle but couldn't resist it. There's loads to do without the add-ons anyway for all sorts of musical tastes plus the talks and interviews are really good too. Only one month to go...... robskyd
Can I start obsessing about the weather yet !?!
DomDom1984
The two week weather reports should be coming out for the Friday so have at it. I haven't looked yet. No siree...
DomDom1984
On the subject of extras, I've been trying to get sleeping bags and an air mattress for my pre-pitched tent and it ain't working. Think I might need to get on the phone to them tomorrow, also to remind them to get my fucking ticket to me.
johnl
Blown it out this year after three years. Going to Beyond The Tracks instead. Will be very interested to read the reviews to see if it has recaptured its former glories.
betharm
I've booked paddle boarding. May as well give it a try for £15. Also thinking of pre purchasing booze to collect there, don't fancy carrying it on to the train and coach from Newcastle.
DomDom1984
I don't mind lumbering that shite on a long journey so long as I'm not carrying much else. Thankfully, I'll be travelling quite light.
ghandi
They emailed me at the weekend with regards to checking my details and said the tickets would be in the post although I've got printed conformation etc from the booking. Still not received the tickets yet though.

robskyd
It says on the website that if you bought tickets before 14th August they will be posted out the week commencing 28th August. Anything bought after that will be an e-ticket. I only know as I was on their site hoping you could buy a Thursday entry ticket separately but it doesn't look like you can And let me be the first to say..... "Oooooh this time in two weeks!!" Thursday entry ticket? Doesn't a general site ticket allow you entry in from 12pm? Or are you talking about something else?
DomDom1984
Two weeks today, I'll be taking in the wonderful sounds of Charlotte Church's Late Night Pop Dungeon! Yaldi!
