Posted 05 April 2012 - 09:44 AMWith the sad news that Jim Marshall has passed away I feel it would be a fitting tribute for one of the stages to be named after him, for good. He did so much for the world of music.

not likely, but the passing of JM is a big deal. Marshall are as important to rock and roll as gibson, fender and rickenbacker.

Completely agree and probably not widely realized. Met him once, really nice guy.
I would like everyone to just sit and think visually about how many bands have had a guitarist with a Marshall stack behind at some time.
