We think that 'needs no introduction' is over-used in this game, and truly, this man definitely does. Jay Shepheard is a firmly established player in the new wave of electronic music, releasing original productions and remixes on high profile labels such as Diynamic, Four:Twenty, Glimpse and Juno. These releases have consistently found their way into the best seller lists as well as in the charts of A-List DJs.

In 2010 Jay launched his own label imprint Retrofit. With an ear for the past and an eye on the future the label marries electronic musical themes of acid house, disco, vintage techno and anything in between with current dancefloor sound and concepts. His collaborations with producers such as Matthew Burton on Retrofit, as well as remixes for Glimpse and Pezzner only add to Jay's impressive, extensively diverse discography.

On Good Friday from 2pm, the Thieves have hand-selected some of the finest DJs on the Manchester music scene with special guests from the residents of Zutekh, Electronique and Close the Door for yours and our entertainment. Not to mention a massive 3 hour exclusive from the main man himself - Mr Jay Shepheard.

We're all very excited to have a DJ of Jay's caliber on board to make sure our first party kicks things off in style and bring something fresh to Manchester.

The secret location is in the city centre and will be announced on the day of the event through email, text and our good friends from Zutekh!
