thelionsmouth
awful, awful announcement.
mrtourette
This 'small spots' announcement, which I usually get a lot from, underwhelms me this year. Just because the so-called 'big-names' have been announced doesn't mean I have to be happy with whatever else is slapped on the bill, surely? You should be bloody grateful you get any names at all. What do you think you are, a paying customer or something?

luckysalt
So now its official, I'll just say thats THE worst Reading line up I have ever seen. I see a lot of people moaning about Sunday Main Stage, but I don't think thats the worst, Saturday, the whole of Saturday, on every stage is absolutely pathetic. Friday main stage is clearly the strongest, but its still not good enough to be honest. Download looks amazing compared to this now. Those who are going, hope you enjoy it, its clearly one for the kids this year.
mrtourette
It's not the best by a long shot (and yes probably one of the worst), but Download still looks shit. Also Saturday has The Hives, PABH and Cage The Elephant, which is conclusive mathematical evidence that you're wrong. dentalplan
I think it's less of 'one for the kids' than the past two years, but whatever - we may all judge it differently if we please.
Chavmeisterdeluxe
Sunday's NME line up is terrible, other than that I'm quite happy with it. Some weird placings but that's to be expected. Still not sure why they fill a day of NME with dance acts when they have a dance tent.
pogal
There have been worse, but there have certainly been many, many better. Fact.

mrtourette
The Lock Up and FR headliners are really good, and there's bound to be a number of decent bands filling out those stages. A handful of good bands dotted around the main and NME, although for £220 you shouldn't really be relying on the smaller stages to make it worthwhile. Chavmeisterdeluxe
Who are Augustines? Any good?
Gucci Piggy
Who's loyal? How come? Oops, autocorrected from pogal to loyal. Because you said you'd only seen one friend complain, and dental seemed to be using pogal's post as proof that not everyone else is happy with it, so I was saying he might have been your friend who didn't like it. I was joking by the way.
mrtourette
Who are Augustines? Any good? Used to be We Are Augustines. Were surprisingly enjoyable in the FR in 2012. The acceptable face of indiefolkrock. Edited April 23, 2014 by mrtourette
dentalplan
Nothing would please half of you anyway, times change and things change, best move with them or get left behind, your choice.
dan1892
Gogol Bordello and Blink clash is a bit shit - why do they insist on doing this. Edited April 23, 2014 by dan1892
mrtourette
Gogol Bordello and Blink clash is a bit shit. May not, Lock Up finished early last year.
insideaway
I really hope they do clash. Need a headliner that night.
dan1892
May not, Lock Up finished early last year. Aye, you're right, just consulted my little timetable neck thing and last year at Leeds and the last bands started at 19:40 and 20:25. Chavmeisterdeluxe
I don't think Gogol and Blink are enough alike to justify a early finish. The dance tent will almost certainly end early Sunday night, can't see them clashing it with Disclosure.
Niallw1
Anyone found a realistic clashfinder?

foolee
where did you hear Band of Skulls starting at 8? Sucks if true as I thought I found a band to watch whilst AM were on. :/
the wonderwhy
This stage finishing early business is a really silly idea
