I suppose that album is probably more easy to judge than most as it is very timeless, and i wouldn't say anyone would look back at that album and associate it with a certain phase of their life. For instance, many people now would say their favourite albums are from Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding or whatever is in the charts. However in future years, that phase has passed and they evolve their tastes. I think In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is the sort of album that once you get into it, it just sticks with you. Yeah, it's a fair point, but there's a fair number of older albums, rather than new releases, that I've bought, obsessed over for a few months, then hardly listened to again.
