The last three tracks Arctic Monkeys have released are the best they've ever recorded as a band.I think they will go back to Glasto before returning to R&L though. Even if Libertines were to kick things off again, I think they'll be at Glasto before.

Green Day or System of a down headlining with Slipknot/Avenged sevenfold subbing

Bloc Party with Franz Ferdinand subbing

Bruce Springsteen with Biffy subheadling

That'd be pretty sweet if it came true, I still cannot believe Florence is a sub headliner, she really is not that big in my opinion.

She does nothing for me at all, she's had like 2 singles worth mentioning, 1 of which was a collaboration too, and her x-factor appearance was clearly a decent publicity stunt, i'll be avoiding her like the plague, i've heard she's pretty dire live too :/

Just on the subject of Libertines and some people saying they should be on NME, this would cause deaths.

I'd like to think Frank Turner would get a shot at headlining NME, loads of people are gutted he won't be there this year, god knows he's worked hard enough, recently racking up his 1200th gig.

and yet you're wrong - she's outsold all of those acts with her latest shows compared to those acts latest shows.
