Nah it'll be in Kerrang as first announcement, otherwise they wouldn't even be mentioning it.

From your acts you've listed there Id say you're bang on with most of them

Think Soni will get a big chunk from

Queen w/Lambart
Faith No More
Offspring
Marilyn Manson
Within Temptation
Evanescence
Enter Shikari
Mastodon
Gojira
Garbage
Puddle of Mudd
Wolfmother
Skrillex
Clutch

and maybe Lenny Kravitz, Queen day.
They seem to be planning on marketing it towards their fanbase.

Anyone think of acts that could play Queen day.
Im thinking Wolfmother will

I think it's pretty obvious lol with most. Gary Numan as said on Queen day? Also think ADTR have a good chance. The reason I'm likely to like it more than Download is due to my liking more for Download's lineup last year, and if people slate me for that they do but we like what we like an my main base for festivals is glasto and leeds then dload or soni when lineup appeals. soni got me to two days tickets, download weekend last year, but linkin park and SOAD sealed it

No I have an OPINION? What's the difference between loads of people taking to Soni's lineup when announced and calling Download a bit crappy as it's not to their taste?

I wasn't questioning anything about Download, I was just asking because your predictions are the same as the ones on that website? Just wondered whether it was you?

Sorry - I've just seen the Gazza thread on the Download forum so understand your reply was a bit defensive!

For what its worth I actually like your enthusiasm for festivals, keep posting.

I've got money on At The Drive In playing Sonisphere, and my hopes on Tool (still).

Well thanks dude. I shall indeed keep posting but I'm annoyed and angry when some dick feels the need to do that.

IMO, he should have moderation for that. I've seen people called on here but a whole new thread created for someone. Move over please.

Personally I think there's a bigger chance of Evanescence being a headliner than Green Day.

You can shoot me down about that on Monday when I'll no doubt be proven wrong.

This predicted line-up does make me wonder GnR will do a UK date? surely they will do?

I'd say the big gap from the Irish date makes a tour more likely than a single date.

Is bloater Axl fit enough for that? Edited to add: He was out of breath at Leeds

Queen, Evanescence and Faith No More doesn't look totally against the odds. Going to wait till monday but they need a massive chunk of bands announced to grab people now. If they got Green Day it'll probably seal it for me to go.

He's doing a 5 date tour in France, I'd imagine somethign for the UK with a day or 2 rest inbetween.

I think a fair few R&L goers are going to be very interested in this announcement. Green Day been rumoured for both festivals, but who's got the beans & signed them... R&L not announced until 12th March.

If what I've heard about a September arena tour is true then the answer could well be neither of them.
