Anyone know if they will have tickets for sale on release day?

i was pondering this at the last sale

i dont understand how they can sell them as they aren't able to give the tickets and the work load for a sale like that would be massive :/

I never seem to have any luck on the net or phone for tina park tickets, i would happily que up for one with a wee bevvy

They do usually sell them although the queues are massive. They basically give you a reciept and you collect them closer to the time of the fest. Also from past experience they don't seem to sell out their allowance that quickly, one year I failed to get tickets online and wandered into the Glasgow branch late in the afternoon and they still had loads of tickets.

I bought my ticket from Ticket Scotland office in 2009. This was the first year that they weren't given an allocation, so basically the woman behind the desk was on Ticket Master, like everyone else at home would have been.

Unless it's changed again, I wouldn't recommend it. Just lie in bed and try TM yourself!
