Just asking on the chance that anyone has experience of this...

I'm going to Benicassim this year for the first time, and am going to cover the festival for Drowned in Sound website. However, I've been asked if I can arrange the press accreditation myself as the festivals and features editors don't have any direct contacts.

That is all fine and obviously the accreditations don't open until April/May time, but I'm just wondering what to do as I've never tried to arrange anything like this for an overseas festival before. I've already booked my flights and I'm just worried that either I won't get accreditation and the festival will sell out, or that it'll all get cocked up and I'll be stuck at Benicassim with no ticket and no accreditation!!!

Know it's a bit of an odd question but I'd be grateful if anyone has had any experience of applying for, and getting any media/press passes for Benicassim in the past? Any help would be much appreciated!
