i highly doubt they will pull out but if they do the only band fit to replace them i think is Lep Zep, the cost would probably be the same and offer Plant enough money and he would do it
i know some think Ozzy (solo) could fill but its a huge step down from Sabbath.
any other ideas of who could fill the huge sabbath slot?

i know it wont be them, it was just my opinion, i think Maiden or Aerosmith, considering Aerosmith new album is out very soon

TBH its more likely it will just be ozzy or soundgarden get a bump up. could be wrong, but that seems the most logical.

Soundgarden is good shout, wouldnt cost extra for DL and means they can shove megadave up a slot and throw someone else in under Megadave

Tbh if Sabbath do still play, or if they pull out and it's just Ozzy, i'll most likely be at Rise Against anyway so not that fussed. If Soundgarden end up being bumped up though it may well give me a headache (probably with Soundgarden winning out) so i'm hoping Sabbath do still make it lol

if soundgarden got bumped up, could AIC not come in as sub?

There's no way on gods earth sabbath could command anywhere near the money led zeppelin would cost

Indeed, let's say if Metallica demand 6 mil, a figure I heard? Might be wrong, Zep aren't doing it for anywhere near that.

A led zeppelin tour would be the biggest money spinner ever, seriously there's not a band on the planet that could match then for ticket sales

you are having a laugh arent ya? 2 tops.
as i said, i saw a figure that was like metallica 6 mil, sabbath 3.5 or something but as i said it may be wrong and obvs is.
either way, didn't zep have 100mil + people apply for tickets to their o2 show?

I bow to your superior knowledge Neil, it was finger in the air stuff for me. I seem to remember reading somewhere that reading pay about a mil for headliners, and kinda used that as a guide, cos I read that years ago.

No chance download would've paid a lot more this year for them?

I imagine that R&L will always pay comparitively more for headliners as it's for two shows.
