[Fest]

This HAS to be the year, doesn't it? Every single year we(I) bring up AWK and it never quite happens but this year it just HAS TO. He's finally touring the UK for the 10 year anniversary of I Get Wet and his shows sold out and were bumped up incredibly fast - he was bumped up from Manchester Club Academy to Academy 3 to Academy 2 and finally to Academy 1, which is almost sold out, all in the space of a few hours, and the gig isn't for 3 months! That shows he's way popular than most people anticipated. He could play a middle NME slot, or, more likely, Lockup/Fest Republic headline/2nd top slot. He recently hinted at Reading and Leeds in his stickam chat, and has confirmed some festivals will be on the way (with a new album this summer). AND with him still not having been announced for Download, you've gotta think Reading's a good shot! But if not, let's make this happen by building up some hype for this king among men, this living God. PARTY HARD!
