I have been v 7 times now and at no time was it better than 2008 when they allowed people access on thursday. We came on the friday and gained access with beautiful ease.

At no time was it worse than 2010 when we were directed off the road to the park back onto the Mway and stuck there for 4 hours. Not fun when you are with girls who need toilet.

I wonder if its a council decision? and if so, would petition make any difference?

What was the situation in 2011?

It does make sense and surely it would benefit the locals as traffic wouldn't be as bad for them?

In 2011, we had to queue down the lane, there was no option for a Thursday entry, like such festivals as Leeds, I believe this would be brilliant.

I'd sign that petition, the extra day on the Thursday was fantastic! Laid back, quiet and stress free!

it will never happen again I don't think as it cost them money and they don't like that
