ORBITAL have just been announced as Saturday 30th June headliners at Beat-Herder 2012 !!!!
"We’re absolutely made up to be hosting the Hartnoll brothers who are ‘ready to reclaim their title as lightheaded lords of the dance arena’ and soon releasing their first album in eight years - Wonky out April 1st. Orbital are playing only a few festival dates, and to be the first among them means Beat-Herder No7 will indeed be a special one"
There will be plenty more treats coming your way in a few weeks! xx

May even get to meet you Flip!!!
Ha ha. x
Hwanofbute:
Depends on where you park as to the length of the walk. We had quite a hike last year. We were early arriving but got stuck in the worse traffic holding pen for hours so we were parked in the overspill, near the ruins. It was nothing like Glastonbury standards though & we managed to move the car near to the fence on Sunday, which had sections removed on Monday (bloody good shout organisers!!) so didn't have to walk up to the exit and round back down.
So not all bad!!

Getting my tickets this weekend.
So you can take your own beer into the performance arena or just the campsites?
Does anyone know what day Goldie is on? And how far is the drop off point to the entrance? I am going to Stone roses on Friday so will only be coming on Saturday morning.
Thanks.

you can take your own beer in, yep/
drop off point not too far.
not feeling this years lineup though - noticeably weaker than last years in my humble opinion.
