Hello t in the park goers!
just a few questions for you

im 17 and will be going to t in the park, and i will be bringing alcohol, do the security of T i.d everyone? or is it random checks?
also if they do i.d me, will my alcohol be removed if they find out my age?
also whats the best campsite, im not into the whole quiet night thing, so im looking for the noisest campsite!
oh and lastly are loads of dickheads usually close to the boom bus?

Na I didnt see anyone get ID'd apart from if you arew trying to buy booze in the arena (but its overpriced anyway so that shouldnt be an issue really ) so getting your alcohol removed should not be a problem.

The busiest campsite is always the one next to the arena, which is the furthest away from the entrance to the campsite so its a trek, the colours of the campsites change now and again so not always good to go with a camp colour in mind until they release the cartoon map of the up-to-date campsite closer to the time.

The campsite next to the boom bus is where we always camp, its not full of arseholes but it has a bit of activity going on so its a good middling campsite, definitely be heading back there this year.

Enjoy it mate, as has been said just the bars will ID you generally, so take your own booze if you don't intend to buy in the arena, or at least get someone to buy it!

Anyway. enjoy! You'll have a blast. I love T

Went in 2010 for the first time when I was 17 and I was in the same boat, was worried but it was fine, just no glass bottles :) I camped in Red 10 2010 but they shut that down on the Thursday in 2011 which meant going in Green 1/2 Aim for that area and its usually got loads of noise, directly below from the boom bus on the map and just above healthy T. In 2010 Green wasn't there however they shifted the campsite around abit so we were still in the same location pretty much. That was my favourite area because it was close to the night life after the arena shut (i.e. inbetween the boom bus and the disco) Boom bus is over-rated as opposed to the indie disco/tent imo for night life :P Make friends with your neighbors and hope there lively too and you can't go to wrong. The most quietest areas are the furthest away just aim for green 1/2 on the thursday and if you come friday red - Thats if the campsite stays the same :)
