I remember an interview with MB and he says he approves every act that plays on every stage, so my impression is the comperes say who they want on their stages and he say a yes or no and makes suggestions on who he thinks should play. I might be wrong tho.

Yeah I'm sure as the gaffer he signs off on the whole bill but he doesn't do the actual booking, I had the impression that he used his weight to give a hand in booking the headliners/bigger bands and then looking over the lower bookings when they're planned.

They've fallen pretty dramatically in stature over the past 5 years, but if there was ever a time in history where a festival would have booked Lostprophets as headliners a year in advance, it would definantly have been in the summer of 2007 when there popularity was at it's absolute peak.
