Also Caribou aren't playing Bestival are they? Isn't it just a DJ set with Four Tet? Not the same thing and nowhere near as interesting.

Three words really: Great Lake Swimmers.
That would be a dream come true.
Fingers crossed.

Spiritualized and Wilco just announced for Wilderness, about 3 weeks before EoTR. Anyone want to speculate whether that makes them more or less likely to play EoTR? (I'd have thought less, though neither of them seem to be exclusives...)

Delighted to get Wilco back...

They've just tweeted that they are announcing the Sunday night headliner and some other bands at 10am tomorrow
Hmmm....the day after Wilderness and Electric Picnic announce bands....wondering even more if we'll get any overlap. Like for example if they had to hold off announcing Sigur Ros until EP did....
http://www.efestival...2/120301g.shtml (I could see some more of those EP bands doubling up at EoTR....) or some Wildnerness ones http://www.efestival...2/120301c.shtml

Of those Wilderness acts, Grant Lee Buffalo are the ones I want the most. I'm away when they play in London, so was a bit gutted to miss out. They wouldn't headline, but they would be amazing.

Now that's more like it! Grandaddy playing together again is just what I needed to hear on an otherwise dull Friday morning.
