It amazes me that so many on here think Gaga would be a credible headliner, I thought Beyonce was pushing it, but this really would take the piss. And as for arguing who is better out of her and Madonna, well that's akin to arguing whether genital herpes is better than oral herpes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's not massive in the pop world, but so were Westlife a few years ago, and I don't recall a clamour for them to headline.
I also don't see the Stone Roses being much of a risk live, Reni and Squire are class and Mani has years of playing live under his belt now, IB has improved massively live too. Not so sure they will still be together in 18 months though.

The festival has to move on & its obviously not the direction many would like it to go (ie pop). I'd rather see Gaga over Stone Roses, & so would all of my mates. It amazes me that so many on here think Gaga would be a credible headliner, I thought Beyonce was pushing it, but this really would take the piss. Couchy is dodging the main question at hand. Just give a straight answer: oral or genital herpes?

I couldn't give a toss about Stone Roses, but at least I would of heard quite a bit of Gaga's set & I usually go with mates girlfriends etc so they'd want to see it.Lady Gaga, or a notoriously crap live band... is that the choice?
Hopefully I'd end in Glade off my face watching Sub Focus or head to Shangri La before the masses descend.

The Stone Roses
Lady GaGa
I can't see past that at the minute.
Why?
I can't understand why people think Lady Gaga could play.
I honestly don't think they will now have a female pop act every year. Jessie J for 2014? Pixie Lott for 2015? Brittany Spears for 2016?
I'm not against Gaga headlining in the near future, although i would avoid her like the plague, although I just can't see it next year.

Gaga not credible? I think at least she is one of a few credible pop artists around and an accomplished writer. Like her or loathe her, she is credible and if the desire is there, then why shouldn't she headline? Not that i'd be watching her after making the mistake of watching Beyonce last year!

providing they haven't split up again by then (which I reckon is pretty much nailed on), it'll be the Stone Roses for sure. Good relationship with Eavis, played the Pilton Party, owe GF a gig, yeah, it'll be them on the Sunday night. Unfortunately.
