What campsite entertainment do you actually need? if you need as much entertainment just to have a good time the folk of Glastonbury must be very dull indeed. :P
You have the boombus if you want some music to listen to whilst you drink, you have boomtown which has the bumper cars etc, there was a house of horrors last year which in turn was beside some sort of D.J tent. The best entertainment though is just walking around and talking to the fellow campers, last year T had a pretty outstanding lineup but being completely honest some of my best moments came after the music had finished and whilst I was in the campsite.

Once you have experienced what Glasto put on at night for folk, you really do question why you don't get this great stuff at other festivals. Its nothing to do with folk being dull or not, its nice to have multiple options of varying entertainment than some drunk playing wonderwall out of time on his shity acoustic from argos.

My favourite thing at Glasto is raving till the wee hours and then going to the circles to piss about with my mates. cannot beat it. if that makes me dull then so be it.

The boombus at titp is outdone by the wine bars at Glasto, let alone arcadia, shangri-la, beat hotel etc. You've gotta remember Glasto has already had two days and nights of campsite 'bantarrrr' before anything would have even kicked off at titp.

There's something about Glasto's location too. It is a bit special.

People should not be just pissing everywhere. There is no excuse and it shouldn't be condoned.
People also shouldn't live of Rice pudding, knick knacks and strongbow while using wet wipes to clean themselves in the morning, but I, like many others will do that every year.
Piss is piss, if people need to go they will go and certainly at festivals no one is going to wipe it out, people throwing piss and pissing in peoples wellies though is deplorable.

If people are so fucking lazy that they won't attempt to find a toilet to piss in they should be chucked straight out the fest. It's fucking rotten and there's no need for it

Yes but what can you do at TITP on the Thursday? As far as I know nothing happens at T tillFriday evening whereas there's stuff on at Glasto from the Wednesday night onwards. Ec=ven a smaller fest like Rockness has far more stuff going on than TITP. Fuck making my own entertainment, If I've paid £200 I expect a bit more for my money. Compared to any other fest I've been to TITP's afterhours entertainment is woeful.

P*ssing wherever you choose is not only utterly vile its also bad for the land, TITP love to bang on about what they do for the environment but this is one issue they do bugger all about which is ridiculous seeing as all the urine leaching into the ground can hardly be a good thing. It also annoys me as when you want to sit down in the sun at a fest to chill or have something to eat, you want to be able to do it without worrying that wherever you choose to sit, you may end up in a puddle of someone else's pee.
I also sympathise with the security staff, some of those that I worked alongside were stationed for hours on end at the campsite fence and had people pissing a few feet away from them the entire time despite their protestations.

The pissing everywhere and lack of entertainment are definitely arguments against TITP that really cant be argued against.

The entertainment is relatively poor yes there is some stuff to do but in general its weak and I dont know if the organisers just know their clientele will prefer just sit and drink and not spend the money on other stuff to do but its definitely an improvement that can be made.

I dont think the pissing everywhere thing will ever be solved unless they manage to have good toilets available everywhere, personally it does not bother me as most people do it against signs or walls which would not be used as sitting places but yes it is a problem probably down to the amount of alcohol consumed as previously stated

Most of the time I saw people pissing was in the crowd, particulary in the golden circle as people did not want to lose there positions. Funnily enough I didn't see anyone sitting down in the golden circle so can't really see that as an issue.
In fact I never actually saw anyone piss in the middle of the grass at all, the most extensive areas of pissing were definitely against fences, even then I don't see why anyone would want to sit against a fence...

On the Thursday there was a good few movies on in the big screen, there was a tent where I watched a D.J perform, think he was french and he wasn't to bad at all. And beside that there was a smaller cabaret tent of somesort, alongside the usual boombus, house of horror, bumper cars etc
Tell me, what has Rockness got going on which equates to there being far more?

Although there was also these big signs dotted around the arena which were use as lavatorys, but by far the most popular was the fences beside the toilets beside King Tuts WahWah tent.

Either loose your position, or drink less or drink spirits so you don't to fecking piss as much its not hard. Infact thats even more vile given how bloody crowded it is in there, i really don't want drunk twonk pissing next to me while I am trying to enjoy a band.

It's just not on and shouldn't be tolerated, if you want to piss anywhere you feel like it we should maybe swap you with someone from a country where they are crying out for sanitation....

You're getting all angry and wound up over fuck all, calm down ya dick.
Fact is though it is on, it happens all the time and quite frankly I'm not going to get myself all wound up about something(unlike yourself who is getting wound up over the internet, you certainly seem like a fun person to be with) which is such a regular occurrence over the weekend, I spend over 200 quid for a ticket, I'm not going to get all wound up about someone taking a piss within a 5 foot vicinity of me.

 you presume to much, i am not wound up but i can express my dislike for someone taking a piss  anywhere they feel like it. Overall will it ruin my festival? no but that doesn't mean it shouldn't happen..

Well there's the Arcadia Afterbuurner with some of the worlds best DJs playing on it till the early hours, there's stuff on in the comedy tent, and stuff on in various bars. After the main acts finish I've seen some amazing DJs like Erol Alkan. I think the Afterburner trumps most entertainment afterhours at most festivals to be honest. The point is Rockness go out their way to keep the punters happy whereas TITP don't give a shit because they know they'll sell out no matter what so they have become complacent.

You also have silent disco at rockness. Arcadia is awesome, saw Derrick May and Derek Carter on the afterburner. One of the greatest things ever.

I loved T for ten years. It has become a disgusting parody of a music festival.
