Hi guys,
Can't convince any of my friends to come to IOW next year (they don't appreciate classic bands like I do - suprisingly enough for 17 yo's
) so will probably be heading out alone. Will be driving from Colchester, Essex to SOuthampton and getting the ferry by foot and then the shuttle bus. Anyone whose on my route or surrounding area fancy joining? I promise I'm not a weirdo - just would be nice to spend the weekend in some decent company rather than a loner! :L

I might be up for this years Isle of White, & will likely be on my own. Almost went last minute this year on my own. Done it before at Reading/Global Gathering & soon made friends & bumped into old ones.

Never been to IOW before, but every year i feel more and more intrigued to go...this year i think its cracked and I will probably be heading down, but however, on my own (unless i can persuade anybody to join me) .my other option is to volunteer the fest? Has anybody had any past experience of this, if not i reckon I'll just have to fork out the money!

hi all you IOW goers, I'm thinking of getting a ticket soon as next week - i couldn't find mates free to come with so I'm flying solo - be worth it though i figure. If anyone would like to take on an extra friend,i don't bite - most of the time. also pretty sure i'll get southampton fiery tickets if anyone else is doing that see you on the way hopefully.

I'm in the exact same boat. Tom Petty and Springsteen were too tempting to turn down so it looks like I will likely be going solo too. I have a friend that is 10 minutes away from the Southhampton ferry so I'll likely be crashing at hers then popping on there.
