Would it be safe to assume that bands who are playing Hurricane and Southside won't be playing at Rock am Ring?

Yeah there is very rarely crossover.

Gutting, really wanted Rise Against and Mumford & Sons. Nevermind though! In my opinion, the Rock am Ring line up pisses all over the Hurricane line up

Will there be any more announcements, or is that it? Was really hoping for Biffy Clyro!

There'll definitely be more! Hopefully soon, I'm getting impatient haha. If you want to read latest rumours, you can check out the ringrocker website.

Me and my mate are well keen for Rock am Ring and are looking at buying tickets off Viagogo. The only issue we have are the logistics of getting there. Whats usually the deal for getting there from the UK? We're in South Wales and haven't got a clue how to travel. Any advice would be outstanding.

My mate and I got tickets from Ebay. Cost us around Euro230 each. We're travelling from Malta to Eindhoven on Tuesday 29th May with Ryanair, spending a couple of days in Amsterdam, then catching a train to Germany (not sure if it's Koblenz or Cologne). And from there we catch a Rock am Ring Coach to the Nurburgring.

I've been to Rock Am Ring twice so far, once we got a coach to Cologne from London, took fucking ages! Like 15 hours each way, and the other time we flew to Cologne/Bonn, it's quite convienent to fly as it's only like an hour on the plane.
How we are doing it this year, is flying out from London on the Tuesday, spend a night in Cologne drinking in their amazing pubs, then head to Koblenz on the Weds morning to get the coach to the festival, pretty much the reverse on the way back!
