Dear Friends,
We are extremely happy to share with you that - in a UK festival exclusive - Grizzly Bear are going to headline End of the Road Festival 2012. And Tindersticks are confirmed as a co-headliner!
Beach House will play a UK festival exclusive as part of our special celebration of Bella Union's 15th Anniversary (more news about this special event to follow further down the line).
So that's three of twenty one (21!) acts announced today, all of whom we are very excited to have at the festival.

Fine list, but I really hope we're getting a different Robert Ellis...

Well it's the only Robert Ellis on Spotify and the 'profile pic' on there is the same as the pic on the website linked in the eotr email. Though I assume he doesn't just do Springsteen covers....

Good start. I can't get excited about Grizzy Bear headlining, but it's a good booking for EOTR. Tindersticks on the Garden Stage would be lovely though (does that what co-headline means?). And the rest of the undercard announced today is pretty strong.
So, thumbs up. But I have a ticket already anyway.

Would be FANTASTIC if Tindersticks play on the Garden stage. Don't think would be quite the same on the big one. Fingers crossed.

"Bella Union's 15th Anniversary..."
Can we expect the following? Fingers crossed...
- Andrew Bird
- Peter Broderick (welcome return)
- Sleeping States
- Fionn Regan (is he still on Bella?)

I'm kind of expecting a return of Fleet Foxes as headliners. But yes, Andrew Bird, Peter Broderick and Veronica Falls would all be most welcome from their roster. Are The Acorn still on BU? If so, I'd like them back.

Given Beach House aren't headlining I assume the Bella Union takeover will be something like a day of the Garden Stage. If it is, here's some exciting news broken today - they've just signed Dirty Three!

Good call there. Bella Union tweeted today that the culmination of their 15th anniversary celebrations will be taking over day 1 at EOTR.
