Elbow taking the sub slot today with Noal and The Whale and Example playing too, I still have no idea who could be headlining this day, at all. Anyone?

Very happy with Elbow- fantastic live band. Noah and the whale put on a pretty good show at Reading. Example isn't really my thing but adds a bit of diversity

I'd love to see Prince there if we're going down the American route. Aerosmith also would be great but I'm sure I read somewhere they've been ruled out. I can see Green Day headlining- mainstream enough people will know enough hits plus there is the musical coming out next year.  IOW need some main stream acts as someone like Bruce won't be well known to a lot of people (As with Neil Young) so this announcement is pretty promising. I'm not fussed who headlines now as I'd be happy with Elbow and Biffy as headliners.

Going off the quote which mentioned the big top having more "urban and dance acts", i'd say example are nailed on.
