My sister has brought a ticket this year for V on the assumption that it would be a similar line up to last year.

Anyway she has never heard of the Stone Roses and i think she might consider selling her ticket if the other headliner is similar.

Her favourite singer is Beyonce, so what do people think of the possibility of her playing next year?

To be fair she doesn't. Most people thought The Stone Roses were nailed on for R&L until it was realised their announced gig promoters pointed towards V than R&L. Money pretty much, this is what V will offer more of than R&L.

three points:-

Some of us knew they were playing V before the announcement.

Then you recognise the relationship they obviously have with a promoter, but then dismiss that as having any relevance and say their choice of fest is driven by the money on offer for that fest.

I don't think you should consider any job that requires a modicum of analysis.

I'll buy the tix for £21 if she decides to sell.

My favourite singer Frankie Cocozza, so what do people think of the possibility of him playing next year?

Really?? Given their past history with Reading I would have thought most wouldn't have seen them there...

Okay, I'll rephrase, before the Heaton Park announcement and your inf saying you had a strong source saying they are headlining V, it was thought by a lot R&L when people pretty much knew they were reforming. Untill, you said this and then people changed and agreed why they could see them at V fest, I could too but then I think V has headliners which goes straight against the likes of the roes these days too.

I don't believe that money has nothing to do with it no.

Money is of course in the mix - such as the money being waved at them by the promoter who got them to reform, which probably includes V money.

But it's the promoter thing which will have been key to it all.

As Neil says the Promotor had V in mind when convincing them to reform. V have been trying to get them to reform for a long time.

Probably the case but V will offer more money I think.
