Green Day/Pearl Jam/Bruce Springsteen - Possible?

So they've already said it is three 'big' American rock bands playing IOW this year, Springsteen is already confirmed for the sunday, Pearl Jam have a new album out next year apparantly and Green Day would appeal to the teenage audience. I have a feeling sonisphere will get RHCP. I have a strong feeling this really could be the lineup, in an attempt to make IOW more rock based this year? I mean, if this was to be the lineup, i'd be there without a doubt.
Anyone agree this is actually possible or is it just wishful thinking for the other two headliners?

Springsteen, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance.

RHCP are playing Knebworth 2 weeks before Sonisphere Festival so it would be very unlikely they will return at the same venue and play the festival! I would have thought they are much more likely to play IOW.

Oh yeah! Though I have also found out that RHCP have actually been ruled out for IOW sometime before the first announcement, so it makes Pearl Jam seem a little more likely (i'd imagine it would be one or the another).

Soundgarden are touring during the summer which may pose a problem seeing how the drummer does double duty with pearl jam as well.

Green Day
My Chemical Romance/Blink 182
Enter Shikari
Pearl Jam
Elbow
Mumford and Sons
Bruce Springsteen
Fleetwood Mac
Noel Gallagher
Now IMO, that is epic.

Don't think it will be Pearl Jam - apparently a few European festivals, including Pinkpop, have tried to get them and were told it wasn't possible, because their new album wouldn't be out by then, and so they wouldn't be touring.
Plus, as someone has already said, Matt Cameron will be drumming with Soundgarden at some point next year, having just recorded some new music with the band. I suppose they will be touring that - no point in not promoting it. Soundgarden are maybe a bit too "heavy" for IOW eh?
However, Springsteen/Pearl Jam would be a phenomenal line-up. Green Day put on a great show too, it would be good to see them headline such a major festival.

That would be epic, sadly cant see MCR or Blink taking sub, have Fleetwood Mac got any plans to tour that anyone knows of? Also, Elbow into Pearl Jam would be amazing

I think MCR or Blink would take being a sub to Green Day.
Think Fleetwood Mac got a new album and tour next year but i'm not totally sure.
Elbow into Pearl Jam would be as you say, amazing.

Id be happy with GD/PJ/Springtseen . As said id say Blink would be the one to sub since they would be more well known then MCR . I still have a feeling one will be Aerosmith
But could be wrong
EDIT: Just seen the interview saying it wont be Aerosmith

Going by the new announcements, could see Green Day being the Saturday headliner... was it ever stated that it was going to be a band for all three headliners?, could see someone like Kanye West being the friday headliner. Would also give a bit of difference in the three headliners then.
